Scripps ups execs at DIY, HGTV
Scripps Networks Interactive, which owns nets including the DIY Network and HGTV, has tapped Dale Roy Robinson as director of programming for its Home category, which includes both nets. Robinson will report to Ross Babbit, senior v.p./g.m. of DIY. Simultaneously, the conglom is promoting Heather Jagels to director of creative services, where she will continue to report to creative services veep Peter Moore. Before joining Scripps, Robinson freelanced for networks including NBC, MTV, GHI, and CMT. The exec will oversee program development, production and talent acquisition for several specials and series on both nets, including DIY's "Worst Kitchen in America," and HGTV's specials series "Extreme Homes."
