Warner releases new Dark Knight Rises images
Warner Brothers have released a new batch of official stills from The Dark Knight Rises, just in case you weren't already excited enough by this week's grand unveiling of the first full trailer. The new images give a clearer impression of Batman's new weapon (not that we know exactly what that gun is for), as well as showing the Dark Knight back aboard the Batpod.Elsewhere, there's also a new image of Bane, in which Tom Hardy gets another opportunity to show off his newly stacked physique. We'd imagine that will probably be the last of the new promotional material for a while, although don't be surprised to see the viral campaign click back into gear after the Christmas break. The Dark Knight Rises is released in the UK on 20 July 2012. In the meantime, we'll just have to give that trailer another watch. Learned it off by heart yet? We're getting there...

'Prometheus' Trailer: In Space, No One Can Hear Your 'Inception' Horn
"I loved the trailer for 'Inception,'" David Fincher told Moviefone. "I just don't want to make the trailer for 'Inception.' I appreciate what it was, but I don't want my trailer to go, "Whomb ... Whomb!" I feel that's their thing. They did it beautifully, more power to them. They branded a sound. They branded a way of this sort of throbbing call to action. Great. 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' is not that. It's a very different thing. You know, it's a much different experience." Indeed it is; which makes you wonder if Ridley Scott feels the same way following the release of the first trailer for 'Prometheus.' Over disturbing images of space turmoil, the soundtrack features that familiar 'Inception' horn to increasingly tense levels until it culminates with a woman (perhaps co-star Noomi Rapace?) screaming, "Please!" Yikes and all, but: familiar. "They went looking for our beginning," reads a title card at the end. "What they found could be our end." BRRNNNNNNNNN. Space 'Inception,' y'all! Starring Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson, Guy Pearce and Rapace, 'Prometheus' hits theaters on June 8, 2012. As you have probably heard by now, it may or may not be an 'Alien' prequel and/or occur in the 'Alien' universe. Head over to Apple to watch in HD or watch below. ITV Certifies Simon Cowell Returning To Boost Britains Got Talent
Deadline contributor Tim Adler files this worldwide report: Simon Cowell will return one of the idol idol judges on next years Britains Got Talent, ITV boss Adam Crozier has confirmed. The X Factor impresario will resume his chair round the talent show carrying out a recent exits of idol idol judges David Hasselhof and Michael McIntyre. Speaking with press this mid-day london, the ITV boss also recommended that ITV Art galleries may be to purchase a u . s . states production company, mentioning the united states might be the 2nd-liveliest industry for independent TV producers besides the Uk. For the moment though, Crozier is concentrating on getting rid of the 612 million cost of debt he inherited by year-finish. If you inherit something which isn't working, the worst factor you want to do is start bolting things on, he mentioned. The ex-Uk postal service Boss was self-deprecating about how exactly large the task facing him in turning ITV around. Group turnover rose 4% to a single.5 billion inside the first 9 several days of year. When the will be a school report, I'd summarize it, good solid progress but plenty more should be done, he mentioned. Were about one third of methods to where we must achieve. Regarding Cowell, Crozier removed flying him in next fall to do a save pursuit to the X Factor that's losing to BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing (also called Dwts in the usa) virtually every Saturday evening. Crozier shrugged off mutterings that British audiences are finally tiring in the X Factor, that's within the eighth season. X Factor continues to be most seen tv series if you mix the Saturday or sunday viewing figures, he mentioned. He was keen to talk in the wealth of ITVs in-house production division, ITV Art galleries (that's seen by experts just like a millstone round ITVs neck because the broadcaster must keep commissioning ITV Art galleries rather than throw open the commissioning process completely for independent producers). Up to now, ITV Art galleries has elevated its share of shows commissioned this year to 55% compared to 47% this season. half of people shows are actually offered overseas like the Titanic miniseries airing on ABC that’s attended 57 areas. Titanic is definitely an very good illustration of how we work now, Crozier mentioned. The program reaches profit before we started which causes it to be.
