Dakota Fanning's Perfume Ad Banned

Dakota Fanning is not someone to sidestep debate. In 2007, her movie 'Hounddog' featured a scene where her character was raped (Fanning was just 14 at that time) this year, she'd an extremely provocative kissing scene with co-star Christian Serratos in 'The Runaways' today, we now have another small-scandal -- although that one is not related to a film. Based on the Telegraph, an advert Fanning did for Marc Jacbos perfume, Oh, Lola!, has been suspended because of its sexual character. Within the ad, which you'll see below, the actress is proven putting on a brief skirt having a giant bottle of perfume among her legs. The Advertising Standards Authority, the United kingdom regulating agency that made the decision to prohibit the ad, had this to say of their decision: "We understood the model [Fanning] was 17 years of age but we considered she looked younger than 16. We considered that the size of her dress, her leg and position from the perfume bottle came focus on her sexuality. Due to that, together with her appearance, we considered the ad might be seen to sexualise a young child.Inch The Telegraph also stated that Fanning was "humbled" when she was initially requested to star within the Marc Jacob campaign.
